Add another piece to Krzyzewski’s already impressive resume — bestselling author. Coach K has coauthored two recent books with Texas writer Don Phillips published by Warner Books.

"Leading with the Heart," emphasizing Krzyzewski’s successful strategies for basketball, business and life, was released in 2000. It reached the New York Times best-seller list.

The story of Duke’s 2001 national championship season, "Five-Point Play," was released in the fall of 2001. The book relives Duke’s journey toward the 2001 NCAA title, the school’s third in an 11-year span.

Krzyzewski also co-wrote a book with Duke Sports Hall of Famer Bill Brill entitled "A Season is a Lifetime" following the 1992 national championship.

Krzyzewski’s most recent book, "Beyond Basketball: Coach K’s Keywords For Success," was co-authored by his daughter Jamie K. Spatola and released on October 10, 2006.
